Handyman

Department: Operations
Location: Newnan, GA

Job Description: Job Handyman

Starting pay rate: $20.00 hourly

The Handyman will have direct responsibility working with Customers Maintenance Department. A handyman provides numerous services in a variety of areas, including general maintenance and cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry and renovations. For example, a handyman might dispose of trash, replace light bulbs, tighten cabinetry or appliance hardware, fix leaky pipes, clean drains, test wiring, replace windows, touch-up painted surfaces, fix broken tile, assemble furniture, clean a building exterior and gutters, remove leaves, fallen branches or other debris from walkways.

Safety Expectations:

  • No personal safety incidents from previous job.
  • Know and follow all company safety guidelines.
  • Promote a safe attitude and awareness among others.
  • Practice prevention, identify and report potential hazards.
  • Follow all Work Instructions and updates as needed.
  • Report any safety incident immediately.

Housekeeping Expectations:

  • Perform housekeeping duties dally.
  • Provide assistance to keep assigned area within housekeeping requirements.

Required PPE:

Safety glasses

Steel toed shoes

Hard hats as required

Conventional work clothes

Gloves and respirators as needed

Hearing protection
